POSITION : Irrigation - Digital Product Specialist

LOCATION : Fresno, CA

A leading international company specializing in irrigation and water control technologies is seeking a Digital Product Specialist (DPS) to join their team.

The DPS will play a key role in promoting the use of electromagnetic meters, digital control, and automation products within the U.S. irrigation industry.

This position requires a strong technical background as well as excellent communication skills to work effectively with sales teams, distributors, engineers, operators, and contractors.

The DPS will act as the primary technical resource for these products, emphasizing the technical value over price-driven sales tactics.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Provide technical expertise to sales teams for the sale, installation, and maintenance of automation, digital, and metering products.
• Assist with on-site troubleshooting, field support, engineering presentations, and industry events.
• Travel to customer locations for technical support, supervision of installations, and training sessions.
• Deliver technical presentations and training to Regional Sales Managers, distributors, and customers.
• Learn about control valve and air valve products to provide support to existing product engineering teams.
• Stay informed on competitors' pricing, products, strengths, and weaknesses.
• Provide input on marketing strategies to drive market expansion and growth.
• Identify market trends and recommend product and solution enhancements.
