WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR :

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to meet the growing demand for Physiatry (PM&R) services at our Franciscan Health Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation - Lafayette location in Lafayette, IN.

WHAT WE NEED :

Ideal candidate will have experience with general rehab, neuro rehab and spine rehab. Experience with injections for migraine / spasticity management is preferred or must be willing to learn. Candidate would thrive in a fast-paced environment and be team oriented. The candidate will need to work collaboratively with physician to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care. Candidate will also have a desire to develop strong ties with patients and the community in which they serve.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT :

Clinic hours : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. - 5 : 00 p.m.

Flexible full-time schedule

No call expectation

A ssist in the initial screening and assessment for potential admissions to AIR as well as provide some outreach to SNFs and ECFs .

Average outpatient volume : 12 - 15 patients per day

Average inpatient volume : 15 - 18 patients per day

Areas of interest

Interventional Pain Management

Brain injury / post-concussion syndrome rehabilitation

Spasticity management

Musculoskeletal rehabilitation

Stroke rehabilitation

Neuromuscular rehabilitation (Parkinsons disease, multiple sclerosis and other neuromuscular diseases)

Qualifications :

Master's Degree - Required

Physician Assistant Certified (PA-C) - Required - or

Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Nationally Recognized Certification - Required

Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - Required
