Job Title : Plumbing Apprentice

FLSA Status : Non-Exempt

Pay Scale : $20hr- $24hr

Position Summary :

The Plumbing Apprentice assists the plumbing and maintenance team in performing installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems throughout multifamily properties. This position is designed for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience while learning the trade under the supervision of the Roving team Plumber.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems including water lines, drain lines, fixtures, and appliances.
• Support preventive maintenance and respond to service requests across apartment units and common areas.
• Help troubleshoot plumbing issues such as leaks, clogs, and low water pressure.
• Learn and apply proper safety procedures and use of plumbing tools and equipment.
• Assist with regular maintenance across the portfolio including but not limited to Electrical, HVAC, Carpentry, and routine maintenance.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure proper disposal of materials.
• Assist in documenting completed work orders and reporting any follow-up needs to the supervisor.
• Communicate professionally with residents, property managers, and maintenance staff.
• Follow company standards and local codes to ensure compliance and quality workmanship.

Work Environment :

This position involves work in occupied and unoccupied apartment units, outdoors, and in maintenance shops. Some after-hours or on-call work may be required to respond to plumbing emergencies.
