A busy, dynamic principal is seeking a Junior Personal Assistant (PA) to join a small, tight-knit household team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to learn, grow, and build a long-term career in private service. The ideal candidate is organized, hands-on, and highly trustworthy, with a can-do attitude and a willingness to handle any task, big or small. This role is ideal for someone with strong initiative and high attention to detail. This role is designed for someone who wants to grow within a private household environment, gaining exposure to high-level operations and building toward a Strategic PA position over time. The right candidate will become an integral part of a loyal, high-performing team with strong internal promotion potential.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Principal and senior team members with day-to-day personal and household tasks
- Assist with errands, scheduling, reservations, and personal shopping, including pickups and returns
- Help coordinate household needs, vendor visits, and deliveries
- Maintain organization across systems, supplies, and spaces
- Assist with administrative and logistical projects as directed by senior staff
- Serve as a dependable “runner” for last-minute needs and on-the-go support
- Protect the Principal’s privacy and maintain strict confidentiality at all times
- Proactive, adaptable, anticipatory – ready to step in wherever needed to keep operations running smoothly
- Deliver best-in-class results in an efficient and effective manner
QUALIFICATIONS
Prior experience in a support or service role preferred but not requiredStrong interpersonal skills, work well with a team and shares information to benefit the wholeHighly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-throughTech-savvy with solid working knowledge of common apps and tools (Google Suite, Apple devices, Asana, etc.)Takes ownership of duties and outcomes - good or badDiscreet, professional, and trustworthy with a strong sense of confidentialitySelf-starter with high agency, able to take direction, learn the “guardrails,” and operate independentlyAdaptable, can pivot and go with the flow, comfortable in an ever changing environmentCoachable and collaborative, eager to learn from senior team membersPositive attitude and willingness to handle both routine and dynamic tasksMust be comfortable in a hands-on role with no task too big or too smallMust have a car + clean driving recordMust have excellent / verifiable references + clean backgroundSchedule : Thursday - Sunday 7am-4pm (with flexibility to work outside of regular hours if needed)
Compensation : $50–$65 / hour + Overtime; comprehensive benefits package (including PTO, paid sick leave, and 401(k) with employer match)
