Trailer Mechanic

We are currently searching for DOT inspection certified mechanics with 2+ years of tank and / or trailer repair experience for our Fife, WA location!

Shift Hours : Monday through Friday 7 : 00am-3 : 30pm

Pay Range : $28.00 to $42.00 per hour, dependent on experience.

(Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.)

Demonstrated skill in most of the following areas :

• The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
• Tank service and repair
• Trailer suspension installation and repair
• Experience with air brake systems and repairs
• TIG & MIG aluminum, stainless or carbon welding experience (preferred)
• Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat)
• Background in confined space entry (preferred)
• Must obtain a High School Diploma or GED
