Job descriptionProvide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues. Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel. Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required. Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations as directed by Allied Universal and site-specific requirements. Support emergency preparedness and response efforts as needed, following established protocols for the location. Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and / or customers while representing Allied Universal at the location. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. A valid guard card or license is preferred. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Security Officer Overnight Plaza Patrol
As a Security Officer Overnight Plaza Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a financial institution location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with visitors and staff, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, while making a positive impact through teamwork and integrity.

- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
