The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise in perioperative nursing and be committed to delivering safe, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. Key Responsibilities : Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures Circulate and / or scrub in various surgical specialties as needed Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs to ensure optimal patient outcomes Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols Document patient care accurately and timely in accordance with hospital policies Respond to emergency situations and assist with critical interventions Qualifications : Active RN license in the state of Alabama or compact state Minimum of 2 years recent OR experience preferred BLS and ACLS certifications required Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and instrumentation Excellent communication and teamwork skills
