Lead Project Engineer

We're seeking a hands-on Lead Project Engineer to manage complex well intervention projects from design through field execution. This role combines technical engineering expertise with active field leadership—you'll design systems, lead crews, and work alongside your team on installations.

What You'll Do:

• Lead project planning, platform integration, and CAD-based design work
• Create detailed layouts, P&IDs, and structural analysis documentation
• Manage and actively participate in field installations alongside operation crews
• Coordinate BOP verification, testing programs, and regulatory compliance
• Provide / on-call support during assigned rotations
• Conduct safety meetings, incident investigations, and root cause analysis
• Mentor junior engineers and develop improved procedures

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• + years in oil and gas industry with project management experience
• Experience with D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
• Knowledge of structural design for load-bearing components
• Understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, and electronics
• Physical capability for active field work in demanding environments
• Willingness to travel and provide on-call support

Preferred Qualifications:

• Crane capacity and lifting requirement verification experience
• Leadership or supervisory experience
• Well intervention or pressure control equipment background
