Our client, an Am Law 50 firm, is seeking a Procurement Business Intelligence Analyst to support the firm's expanding procurement operations. This role will play a critical part in driving data visibility, process efficiency, and system optimization as the department implements a new procure-to-pay platform.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working cross-functionally with Finance, Information Security, and third-party risk management teams to refine workflows, enhance reporting, and enable smarter procurement decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Collect, analyze, and interpret data from multiple systems to support procurement strategy, reporting, and operational decisions.
Design and maintain dashboards and performance reports (Power BI, Tableau, or Excel) to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and procurement metrics.
Develop and maintain process maps and documentation to visualize procurement workflows and identify opportunities for improvement.
Partner with Finance on budget tracking and forecasting to ensure alignment with financial objectives.
Support implementation and optimization of the firms new procure-to-pay system , focusing on data integrity, process refinement, and workflow efficiency.
Collaborate with Legal, Risk, and InfoSec teams to review contracts for duplicate or outdated clauses and ensure compliance with firm policies.
Automate reporting processes and streamline manual data collection to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Manage competing priorities and deadlines, delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of experience in procurement, operations, or business intelligence within a corporate or professional services environment (law firm experience preferred).
Strong Excel and Power BI (or Tableau) skills for dashboard creation, KPI reporting, and trend analysis.
Familiarity with procure-to-pay systems , data visualization tools, and workflow optimization.
Excellent communication and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and drive process improvements
