The Quality Engineering Technician I will have progressively more expertise and accountabilities but will work with the Quality Engineering Manager and Quality leadership to perform the following : Support day to day quality tasks such as generating production quality metrics, documentation of issues, assembling customer data packs, support problem investigations and RCCA Interpret and apply relevant Domestic and International Regulations and Industry Standards (e.g., ISO, AS, AMS, ASTM, etc.) when required as part of tasks. Support regulatory and agency inspections, audits, investigations, and inquiries regarding the control and assessment of product design and manufacturing quality. Review the adequacy and correctness of changes to Procedures, Documents, Component Specification, FMEAs, Control Plans, as applicable. Assist with the timely disposition of non-conforming materials, maintain compliance to necessary regulatory requirements, and ensure adequacy of corrective actions to prevent re-occurrence, as applicable. Participate in CAPA activities, including analysis of data and trends in complaints, supplier quality, nonconforming material, training effectiveness, and root causes analysis. Work with Suppliers, Management, Engineers, and Manufacturing in the resolution of quality problems. Correctly assessing situations, problems and opportunities and comprehending the actions required.
