Assembly Technician Day Shift :

Summary :
The primary function of this position is to assemble door operators and components, as well as handle the shipping, packing, and loading of doors.This role supports the installation crew by ensuring doors function properly and that the correct materials are prepared for each job.The position also requires maintaining a clean and organized work area and collaborating with other departments to ensure quality and efficiency.Essential Duties :
Assemble doors and complete packing lists Assemble motors, brakes, control panels, and other operator components Ability to operate forklift, overhead crane and telehandler Common knowledge of hand / power tools and other fabrication equipment Ability to communicate across departments Have some background in electrical (will train) Testing of assembled components to ensure functioning properly Troubleshoot issues with non-functioning operator components Marginal Duties : Assist in production or field positions as requested.Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management.Competencies Required :

This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.Education and Experience :
High School or GED required, and 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred or; an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential responsibilities and duties as listed above.Equipment Used :
