Job Description

Location : Hamilton Gastroenterology Group in Hamilton, NJ

Hours : Monday through Friday 9 am to 5 pm.

Hourly Rate : $19 / hour

The Procedure Scheduler at Hamilton Gastro plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient scheduling of medical procedures for patients. This position is responsible for coordinating appointments between patients, physicians, and clinical staff to optimize workflow and resource utilization. The scheduler acts as a key point of contact, providing clear communication and support to patients regarding their procedure details, preparation instructions, and any necessary follow-up. By managing scheduling logistics accurately and promptly, the Procedure Scheduler helps to minimize wait times and maximize patient satisfaction. Ultimately, this role contributes significantly to the overall operational success and quality of care delivered at Hamilton Gastro.

Minimum Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred.
• Previous experience in medical scheduling or healthcare administrative support, preferably in a gastroenterology or outpatient clinical setting.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and scheduling software.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
