Department : Physical Therapy – Acute Inpatient Rehab

Description :

A hospital in Oro Valley, AZ is seeking an experienced Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment. The PT will provide care to patients in an acute inpatient rehabilitation setting, helping reduce pain, restore function, improve mobility, and prevent disability.

Requirements :

Minimum 2 years physical therapy experience, acute inpatient rehab required

Licensure : AZ PT license required

Certifications : BLS required

EMR experience in Cerner preferred

Responsibilities :

Examine and assess patients to develop individualized treatment plans

Implement interventions to restore mobility, reduce pain, and improve functional outcomes

Educate patients on condition management, wellness, and injury prevention

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient care

Document patient progress accurately in EMR
