The Vice President of Ancillary Services is a transformative, C-suite-caliber leadership role based in our vibrant Brick, NJ office, crafted for a strategic visionary to propel the success of our ancillary companiesencompassing hospice, home health, pharmacy, laboratory services, and new skilled nursing facilities (SNFs). This is not a role for those focused on daily operations; our exceptional operations managers expertly handle execution. Instead, this position demands a forward-thinking strategist and asset manager who thrives on maximizing revenue, driving innovation, and positioning these business units as industry trailblazers. The VP will architect the strategic roadmap for ancillary services, harnessing bold ideas, market foresight, and cutting-edge strategies to amplify profitability, scalability, and alignment with our mission to deliver world-class care that sets new standards in healthcare excellence.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Vision and Leadership : Oversee ancillary companies (hospice, home health, pharmacy, lab, and new SNFs) as a portfolio of high-value assets, crafting innovative strategies to drive exponential revenue growth and market leadership.
- Revenue Maximization : Identify and capitalize on opportunities to significantly boost revenue across ancillary services, leveraging market trends, partnerships, and creative business models to unlock new growth potential.
- Business Strategy Innovation : Develop and champion forward-thinking business plans for ancillary services, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and a relentless focus on profitability, scalability, and service excellence.
- High-Level Process Oversight : Collaborate with operations managers to ensure processes are optimized for efficiency and compliance, while maintaining a strategic focus on long-term value creation rather than daily operations.
- Cross-Functional Synergy : Partner with clinical, financial, and administrative leadership to integrate ancillary services into the organization's broader care delivery and financial strategy, fostering a cohesive and innovative approach.
- Regulatory Strategy : Ensure ancillary operations meet federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid) through strategic oversight, working with compliance teams to minimize risk and maintain industry-leading standards.
- Performance Analytics : Establish high-level KPIs to monitor the performance of ancillary services, using data-driven insights to guide strategic decisions and drive transformative growth.
- Team Inspiration : Empower and align high-performing teams within ancillary companies, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and strategic focus, while relying on operations managers for execution.

- Stakeholder Relationships : Build and nurture high-level relationships with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders to drive the growth and strategic integration of ancillary services.
Qualifications
Experience : 10+ years in healthcare leadership or asset management, with at least 5 years in a senior role overseeing hospice, home health, pharmacy, laboratory services, or SNFs. Proven experience in scaling ancillary services or driving strategic growth is essential.Industry Expertise : Deep understanding of the financial, operational, and regulatory dynamics of ancillary services, including reimbursement models and market trends, with a focus on high-level strategy.Visionary Thinking : Demonstrated ability to think strategically and innovatively, developing bold strategies that drive revenue growth, market differentiation, and long-term value in a healthcare setting.Leadership Excellence : Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of inspiring cross-functional teams and driving results through strategic oversight, not hands-on management.Financial Mastery : Strong financial acumen, with expertise in analyzing complex data, managing high-level budgets, and implementing innovative revenue-generating strategies.Technical Proficiency : Familiarity with healthcare management systems, electronic health records (EHR), and advanced data analytics tools. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is required.Education : Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree (MBA, MHA) strongly preferred.Communication : Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate visionary strategies, engage high-level stakeholders, and inspire action.Location : Must be able to work in-office in Brick, NJ.Compensation and Benefits
