The role entails performing kitchen duties such as setting up workstations and ingredients; preparing all sub recipes and executing final product for service. Maintains cleanliness in the kitchen by complying with sanitation and nutrition guidelines. The ideal candidate will be able to function in a fast-paced, busy environment, and a self-starter who adheres instruction from the Executive Chef / Pastry Chef.

Responsibilities :

• Ensure kitchen equipment and appliances are ready for use.
• Assist the chef by preparing all menu items for the restaurant
• Set up workstations and ingredients so that food can be prepared according to recipes.
• Takes Daily Inventory of all production items and records and tallies what has been depleted and produced
• Aids with ordering of food items with the chef to ensure product is in house
• Ensure food is stored away properly when not in use.
• Has fully comprehension of the menu and is trained on the preparation of all ingredients
• Always maintain a clean and orderly kitchen station by sanitizing surfaces and disposal of trash when needed.
• Comply with sanitation guidelines.
• Time management and has ability to execute recipes promptly.

The base pay range for this position is a salary range of $21.00 - $22.00 hourly per year. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid within the range depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history / job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, etc.
