Implementation Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Implementation Specialist to support our client who is a pioneering company focused on supporting small businesses to provide affordable group health insurance. This position is ideal for individuals who are inquisitive, adaptable, and ready to gain exposure to sales, underwriting, and policy administration in a transformative startup environment.

This assignment is strictly temporary, expected to run through the end of January, with no temp-to-hire planned. However, internal applications for other roles may be possible.

Location : New Orleans, LA 70119 (co-working space)

Compensation : $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

RFP Intake and Underwriting Preparation

Manage the intake process for partner RFPs and ensure timely submission.

Review and organize partner-provided data for underwriting purposes.

Verify data accuracy, compliance, and completeness to support underwriting.

Maintain excellent records regarding partner interactions and submission status in HubSpot.

Policy Implementation, Quality Assurance, and Compliance

Facilitate the implementation of approved policies by coordinating with internal departments, clients, and external partners.

Submit data for policy issuance in ESL office.

Ensure policies adhere to quality standards and regulatory compliance requirements.

Conduct quality control checks to verify documentation accuracy and completeness.

Client Interaction

Communicate with external partners (TPAs, agencies) to gather missing information and relay to underwriters.

Handle sensitive conversations and escalate when necessary.

Cross-Functional Coordination and Facilitation

Facilitate communication and collaboration between internal departments.

Coordinate with external partners / vendors to gather information and documentation.

Ensure smooth handoff and exchange of information between stakeholders.

Process Improvement

Recommend and contribute to process improvements to enhance partner experience.

Collaborate with team members to refine and optimize intake and implementation processes.

Engage in ad hoc and routine reporting and analysis as needed.

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in Business or Healthcare-related field preferred.

Highly organized with strong attention to detail; quantitative and analytical.

Intermediate / advanced proficiency in Excel; heavy Excel / data entry required.

Experience in high-volume environments.

Self-motivated with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Customer service experience preferred (empathetic style, not call center “hardened”).

Insurance / healthcare background is a plus, not required.

Adaptable to new systems; experience with proprietary web-based systems and HubSpot.

Pay Details : $23.00 to $26.00 per hour
