Travel Nursing Job Details Location : Albuquerque, NM 87106 (New Mexico nursing jobs) Facility : Level I Trauma, Teaching, and Children's Hospital Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse Contract Start Date : December 15, 2025 End Date : March 16, 2026 Duration : 13-week contract Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM), 3 shifts / week (36 hours / week) Guaranteed Hours : 36 or 48 hours / week contracts available Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1820-$1870 Weekend Requirement : 2 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule (may vary by unit) Floating : Required to Med / Surg Tele, PCU, and lower acuity units; may float to ED Charting System : Cerner Scrub Color : Black Parking : Free onsite parking Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (NM or compact state; NM license can be pending at submission) Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg Telemetry nursing experience Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (No RQI certifications accepted) Proficient in starting and maintaining IVs; skilled in dysrhythmia interpretation and management Experience with telemetry monitoring and primary nursing care COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required (medical / religious exemptions accepted with documentation) Willingness to float to other units as needed No local candidates within 75 miles (travel nursing requirement) Personal transportation required Med / Surg Tele RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality patient care to adult and geriatric populations on a busy Med / Surg Telemetry unit Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms using Phillips cardiac monitors Initiate and maintain IVs, administer medications, and perform comprehensive nursing assessments Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including PT, RT, pharmacy, and social services Float to PCU, ED, and lower acuity units as required by hospital staffing needs Accurately document all patient care activities in Cerner EMR Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and quality standards Participate in orientation and complete required annual training modules Apply now to join our dedicated healthcare team and take the next step in your travel nursing career in Albuquerque, New Mexico!
