Portfolio Management Communications Associate

CAPTRUST is seeking a dynamic team player, capable of assisting with the creation and maintenance of investment-related content materials for distribution to financial advisors and clients. The Associate will have both recurring tasks and project-related work that encompasses investment research, data analysis, light design work, written communication, and coordination with the Investment Committee and

Responsibilities

Gain insights into the financial markets using third-party research and internal resources

Assist in preparing timely, market-related commentary to the firm's financial advisors on an ad hoc basis

Assist in the preparation for weekly, monthly, and quarterly client investment materials

Maintain an internal database of all investment group materials

Prepare weekly portfolio performance reports

Assist with ad-hoc requests from the firm's financial advisors as well as other members of the research team

May perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications :

Completion of a four-year college degree in the following areas : Business Administration, Statistics, Finance, or Economics

Desired Qualifications / Skills :

Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint

Proficiency in Power BI, FactSet and / or Morningstar, Seismic are a plus.

Ability to gather information, identify linkages and trends, and convert to client-friendly communication

Process and procedure minded, with a desire for continuous improvement of efficiency and service levels

Proactive in assignment follow-up, stays ahead of deadlines, and excellent time-management skills

Well organized with strong attention to detail; maintains detailed records

Thrives working in an environment that requires both individual and team contributions

A high level of professionalism and ethics

Patient and confident with a positive attitude
