This office services hospice clients on a per visit basis in the home and facility settings.\n\nCoverage area : Lehigh County\n\nPrior home care and / or hospice experience is preferred, but not required. • Making home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.\n
• Performing assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures and comfort care.\n
• Monitoring clients' conditions; reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager.\n
• Following up with, executing, and properly documenting doctors' orders.\n
• Performing client assessments as necessary.\n
• Occasional on call after hours and / or weekends\n\nQualifications for a Hospice RN - Registered Nurse include : \n
• A current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in PA.\n
• A minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical / surgical) experience.\n
• Prior home care and / or hospice experience strongly preferred, but not required.\n
• Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.\n
