Description
We are hiring dependable and safety-driven General Laborers for temporary positions within our industrial pipeline coating mill. These roles involve physically demanding, hands-on work with large-diameter steel pipes used in the oil and gas industry. Applicants must be comfortable working in a heavy industrial setting and committed to following safety procedures at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Grind large-diameter steel pipes using industrial grinding tools
- Strip and clean pipes to prepare for coating or shipment
- Handle, move, and prep pipes weighing up to 20,000 lbs
- Assist with staging and organizing materials for transport
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area
- Follow all safety protocols, plant regulations, and operating procedures
- Wear all required PPE at all times (hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toe boots, gloves, etc.)
- Report hazards, equipment issues, or unsafe conditions immediately
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- Required: Previous experience (Minimum 1 Year) in manufacturing, construction, or industrial labor
- Must pass a federal background check (Non-Negotiable)
- Ability to perform physically demanding labor (lifting, bending, standing for long periods)
- Ability to work in loud, heavy-equipment industrial environments
- Strong adherence to safety policies and PPE requirements
- Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
Schedule & Work Environment
- 12-hour shifts: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday–Saturday w/possibility of Sundays
- Shifts run on a weekly rotation—candidates must be willing and able to rotate
- Work is primarily in industrial or non-climate-controlled environments
- Exposure to heavy machinery, industrial coatings, steel materials, and outdoor conditions
