Manage both pre and post-award portfolios for faculty and researchers, supporting proposal development,
funding management, and compliance with research and financial regulations. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a collaborative academic environment.
We’re looking for someone who :Holds a bachelor’s degree and has 3+ years of experience in research administration or a related fieldUnderstands governmental regulations, sponsor policies, and research compliance standardsHas strong accounting, analytical, and project management skillsCommunicates effectively with diverse teams and stakeholdersIs detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in problem-solving(Preferred) Has experience with research or academic administration systems and processes(Preferred) Has experience in higher education or a research-based environmentWhat you’ll do :Partner with researchers and faculty to prepare administrative components of proposalsDevelop, prepare, and finalize project budgets and justificationsServe as liaison between researchers and internal offices to facilitate submissions and manage inquiriesEnsure proper award setup, compliance with funding requirements, and timely cost transfersReview and approve expenditures, advise on post-award spending, and maintain complianceDevelop reports, forecasts, and documentation to support financial oversightInterpret and apply university and government policies for sponsored projectsProvide technical and administrative support across research teamsCompany Description
