• Number of Beds : 36
• Patient Ratios : 1 : 6
• Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : 4 South has 2 stations and uses 2 unit secretaries 0600-2200 daily. We utilize patient care techs at all times, the amount and ratio fluctuates depending on census.
• Type of equipment : Telemetry for each room with monitors in the stations, Dynamaps for vital signs, glucometers, iMobile phones, bladder scanner
• Documentation system : Meditech
• Scheduling requirements : 12 hour shifts (7-7), every other weekend, holidays required as well.
• Floating policy : All nurses float to other units as needed.
• Patient Experience requirements : Hourly rounding, bedside shift report, My Care Boards, AIDET Hospital Specifics-

• Level II Trauma Center Hiring profile Requested Skill Set : Strong nursing background and knowledge, thorough assessment skills, attention to details and condition changes. Advanced skills needed : Telemetry rhythm interpretation Procedures performed on unit : PICC line removal, vas cath / temp cath removal Certifications Required : BLS, ACLS Dress Code : (Required uniform)
