Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm specializing in Healthcare and Educational Services, is seeking a dedicated Local Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a client near Houston, Texas. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic educational team on a 36-week contract for the 24-25 school year with competitive weekly compensation up to $60 / hr based on experience.

Job Description :

  • Assessment and Diagnosis : Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students.
  • Intervention Planning : Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address specific speech and language needs.
  • Therapeutic Services : Provide individual and group therapy sessions to students, utilizing evidence-based practices.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student communication needs and promote academic success.
  • Documentation : Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding student outcomes.
  • IEP Participation : Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing expert insights and recommendations.

    • Education and Certification Requirements :

  • Valid Texas SLP license.
  • Updated resume highlighting relevant experience and skills.
  • Strong knowledge of speech-language pathology principles, practices, and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
