Overview
Graphic Designer role at George P Johnson Experience Marketing (GPJ). This is a hybrid position requiring on-site work a minimum of 2 days per week at one of the following locations : Boston or New York City.
Responsibilities
- Understand how the client shows up in a 3D space and visually represent the brand in a two-dimensional format.
- Own the agency and client brand image; ensure all work is on brand and reflects the company’s quality.
- Bring new ideas and thinking to client challenges; solve them in interesting and creative ways.
- Continually innovate and develop new presentation techniques to inspire and energize the audience.
- Translate creative briefs into impactful design solutions.
Your Skills
Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and Google SuitePassion for learning new software and tracking emerging trends, including AI-based tools (e.g., Firefly, Gemini)Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with accountability and qualityExcellent communication and collaboration skills; articulate design concepts and provide constructive feedbackStrong teamwork across creative, production, and account functionsAbility to mentor junior creatives and contribute to a positive, inclusive work environmentStrong understanding of brand guidelines and how to design within brand standardsExperience & Education
3-5 years of experience as a Graphic Designer4-year college degree in Graphic Design, Advertising, Visual Communication or related fieldTravel & Workplace
Ability to travel up to 25%Ability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends and holidays as neededSalary
Salary range : $65,000 – $80,000. Salary is dependent on factors including experience, skills, and location.
