Join CFA Institute as a Candidate & Learner Services Specialist and help us deliver world-class support to candidates pursuing the CFA designation and other credentialing programs. This role is based in Charlottesville, VA, with flexibility for remote or hybrid work in approved U.S. jurisdictions.
What You'll Do
Serve as a key point of contact for escalated candidate communications, resolving issues with professionalism and empathy.
Manage the candidate accommodation process, including coordination with medical consultants and legal counsel to ensure seamless delivery of legally required accommodations.
Develop and maintain operational procedures and guides that enhance the candidate experience during exam administration.
Track and analyze candidate escalation metrics to assess vendor performance and recommend service improvements.
Identify and implement process and system enhancements to boost efficiency, quality, and alignment with strategic goals.
Support operational tasks such as risk identification, business continuity planning, and process documentation.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proven success in client-centered roles requiring precision and attention to detail.
Experience in international testing or credentialing environments is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for crafting clear, client-focused messaging.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and familiarity with Salesforce, CMS platforms, and AI toolsor a willingness to learn.
Ability to manage competing priorities with agility and composure in fast-paced settings.
Naturally curious and proactive, with a solution-oriented mindset and a drive to improve team performance and processes.

At CFA Institute, we are committed to transparency and equity in our hiring process. In compliance with wage transparency laws in many of the jurisdictions in which we recruit, we provide the following information regarding compensation for this position :
Expected salary range : $70,000-80,000 per year
All salary ranges are subject to adjustment based on experience, education, and other factors relevant to the position. Additional benefits include eligibility for an annual incentive bonus, a 12% employer contribution to a 401(k) or pension plan, and a comprehensive medical benefits package.
