Job description

A leading healthcare organization is seeking a dedicated, licensed Physician to join their Primary Care team in Brooklyn.

About the Opportunity :

Schedule : Monday to Friday
Hours : 9am to 5pm, no call

Responsibilities :

Complete initial assessment and evaluation of new patients

Provide ongoing monitoring of patient's medical condition and provides the treatment

Order prescription medications and diagnostic procedures

Authorize and coordinate all specialty and ancillary services

Provide in-service staff development and clinical teaching of trainees rotating through the Medical practice

Participate in the development of such programs as preventive health screening, immunization programs, professional community outreach, quality assurance, etc.

Participate in multidisciplinary team activities, including case conferences, hospitalization reports, and family and team meetings

Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

Active New York State MD license

Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, and / or Geriatrics

Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese)
