Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the upcoming school year at a K-12 educational facility in Owosso, MI. This contract role runs from August through May, with a commitment of 35 hours per week serving one school building. The position focuses primarily on a high school caseload of approximately 45 students.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide speech and language evaluations, therapy, and intervention services to students across K-12 grades.
- Manage and maintain caseload documentation and comply with Individualized Education Program (IEP) requirements.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Participate in paid team meetings and complete any assigned indirect administrative duties.
- Use district-provided systems for IEP documentation; training will be provided.
- Maintain professional credentials and comply with all district requirements, including appropriate background checks.
Qualifications :
Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and certification.Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a high school setting.Ability to effectively manage a caseload of up to 45 students.Strong communication and organizational skills.Flexibility to participate in virtual interviews and timely availability for assignment decisions.Additional Details :
