Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Shell, Python, and Perl.
  • Perform Linux / Unix command-line operations and advanced shell scripting tasks.
  • Analyze requirements and define test strategies, plans, and automation enhancements.
  • Collaborate with development teams to design and execute integration testing.
  • Maintain and support test environments, including test drivers and deployment scripts.
  • Prepare and update migration / deployment documentation and automation assets.

Technical Skills

  • Shell scripting, Python, Perl programming
  • Linux / Unix system operations and software development (RHEL platforms)
  • Test automation tools (e.g., Jira Xray), backend testing
  • Integration of networked applications on Unix systems
  • Cryptography fundamentals : PKI, digital certificates, security protocols
  • Database programming : SQL and NoSQL
