Fabrication Foreman

ProRecruiters is seeking a Fabrication Foreman to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job

• Supervise and manage all manufacturing and maintenance employees to ensure adherence to operational and quality procedures.
• Oversee personnel issues, including performance, employee relations, and the disciplinary process.
• Manage work in progress and maintain the shop production schedule.
• Ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and safely while meeting customer delivery expectations.
• Plan and direct the layout of equipment, workflow, and assembly methods.
• Organize and implement a shop mentoring program for new and / or inexperienced fabricators.
• Ensure welding quality meets company standards on all jobs.
• Verify that hours are logged to the proper job and reported weekly for payroll.
• Ensure company and industry-regulated quality standards are maintained on all fabricated equipment.
• Administer all aspects of employee management, including hiring, training, planning, assigning and directing work, performance reviews, pay increases, addressing complaints, resolving problems, and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure compliance with ASME and OSHA regulations in accordance with Quality Manual Standards and blueprints.

Position

• Ability to read blueprints and engineering fabrication drawings.
• Knowledge of ASME quality control procedures as outlined in the shop manual.
• Strong welding knowledge and application, including MIG, TIG, and stick / flux-core.
• Ability to recommend proper procedures for specific jobs and provide guidance to laborers.
• Excellent leadership, supervisory, organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills.
