Job Description : Director of Anesthesiology

A premier surgical center in Brooklyn, New York, seeks an experienced, board-certified Anesthesiologist to serve as Director of Anesthesiology. This dynamic role combines clinical expertise with strategic leadership, overseeing anesthesia services for gastrointestinal (GI) and eye procedures in a vibrant urban setting. Candidates will not perform eye blocks, allowing focus on critical care aspects.

Key Responsibilities :

• Administer safe, effective anesthesia for 10-20 daily GI and eye cases, ensuring patient comfort, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and providing thorough patient education.
• Lead the anesthesiology department, setting high standards for care, developing policies, and implementing quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and administrative staff to streamline operations and enhance patient experiences, balancing independent clinical work with team leadership.

The position offers a competitive salary of $550,000-$600,000 per year and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, robust retirement plans, generous paid time off, and professional development opportunities to support career growth and well-being.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 : 30 AM-4 : 30 PM, with no calls, nights, or weekends, ensuring an excellent work-life balance.
