Summary :

The Diagnostic Imaging Scheduler obtains, enters and verifies complete and accurate patient information to ensure a positive hospital experience, efficiently schedules all Radiology exams obtaining information necessary to ensure exam appropriateness, verifies authorizations and insurance information, explains financial requirements to patients / responsible parties and instructs as to payment procedure when required, interacts with other hospital departments, carriers and physician offices for the purpose of acquiring accurate demographic and insurance information.

Qualifications : Requirements :

• High School diploma or GED.
• One year of current customer service experience in a medical setting required.
• Current medical terminology knowledge required.
• PC and data entry skills required.
