ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Prescott, Arizona.

Job Details : \n

  • Work 12-hour shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM or 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM

    • \n

  • Every other weekend requirement with 2 weekends per 4-week schedule

    • \n

  • Holiday requirement for Christmas, New Year's, and Thanksgiving (work 2 days and 1 eve or 2 eves and 1 day)

    • \n

  • Night shift preference with first to float designation

    • \n

  • Nurse to patient ratio of 1 : 5 with 49-bed capacity unit

    • \n

  • Must take and pass dysrhythmia exam within two attempts prior to signing contract (80% passing score)

    • \n

  • Required certifications : BLS and ACLS

    • \n

  • BSN degree not required

    • \n

  • Navy blue scrubs required

    • \n

  • One shift of unit-specific orientation provided

    • \n

  • Cerner charting system experience recommended

    • \n

  • Must have experience reading basic telemetry strips and interpreting strips with sign-off required at least once per shift

    • \n

  • Experience with CVA, TIA, and total joint replacement patients preferred

    • \n

  • Floating requirements to East Campus and possibly PCU if qualified

    • \n

  • Care for patients with CHF, respiratory issues, GI conditions, diabetes, post-catheterization, and total joint replacement

    • \n

  • Work with set-rate drips including Diltiazem / Cardizem (no titration required)

    • \n

  • Collaborate with monitor techs, charge nurses, house supervisors, and nurse aides

    • \n

  • Equipment usage includes BiPap, CPAP, and breathing treatments

    • \n

  • Self-scheduling system with manager balancing final schedules for 4-week periods

    • \n

  • 4 shifts cancellation policy per contract (3 shifts if contract under 13 weeks)

The facility features modern equipment including BiPap, CPAP, and respiratory therapy services, with a team-based approach including monitor technicians, charge nurses, and support staff.
