Inpatient Psychiatrist at Phelps Memorial Hospital

Northwell Health’s Department of Behavioral Health  is seeking a  Board Certified / Board Eligible Inpatient Psychiatrist  to join our Behavioral Health team at  Phelps Hospital . We are recruiting for a highly motivated Practitioner who has outstanding clinical and interpersonal skills and is able to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• 22-bed Inpatient Psychiatry Unit with 24 / 7 care for adults 18 years and older
• Multidisciplinary staff includes 2 dedicated psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses, nurse practitioners, social workers and occupational therapists
• ECT available
• General medical care provided by hospitalist service
• Monday-Friday schedule, 9am-5pm, with equal and shared evening and weekend call
