Job description

Baptist Health Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologist (MD / DO) to join our team in Corbin, Kentucky . This is a full-time, employed position offering an excellent opportunity to build a thriving practice within a supportive and well-established health system.

Position Highlights

Specialty : Gastroenterology (Advanced GI preferred)
Practice Setting : Outpatient practice with procedures and rounds at Baptist Health Corbin Hospital
Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM; closed evenings, weekends, and holidays
Flexibility : administrative day weekly; option for a 4-day work week
Team Structure : 2 experienced APPs (no physicians currently in practice)
EMR : Epic
Hospital : 250-bed facility
Call : Provider takes first hospital call; centers closed on weekends

Position Benefits

Competitive base salary

Up to 20% annual incentive bonus

$20,000 sign-on bonus

Student loan assistance

CME : $4,000 annually + 5 days

Stipend : $1,000 / month during final 12 months of training

Full benefits package : Health, dental, vision, and retirement (401K with match)

PTO : 18 days + 8 holidays + 2 floating holidays + 1 CME week (increases with tenure)

Medical malpractice and tail coverage provided

Position Requirements

MD / DO degree required

Board Certified / Board Eligible in Gastroenterology

Advanced GI training preferred

Eligible for Kentucky medical license
