Manufacturing Planner Associate Manager

You will be a Manufacturing Planner Associate Manager for our Missiles and Fire Control team, responsible for managing multiple manufacturing planning, material management, and support activities. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality products, and we're looking for a talented and experienced professional to join our team.

As a Manufacturing Planner Associate Manager, your responsibilities will include :

  • Manages multiple manufacturing planning, material management and support activities within various manufacturing job functions responsible for Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) transactions. These may include but not limited to, Make, Buy, Bill of Material (BOM) Planning, Master Production Scheduling (MPS), Warehousing and Shipping.
  • Oversees production systems integrity and drives inventory optimization to minimize cost.
  • Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition / disciplinary actions.

This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in an associated discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Leadership experience with demonstrated performance driving continuous improvement with MRP / ERP
  • Experience in one or more of the following with a fundamental understanding of all aspects of Production Planning and Control including : Master Production Scheduling, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and / or Material Flow control
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with multiple functions (such as Program management, production operations, quality, global supply chain, and engineering)
  • Experience in manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrates strong analytical, problem solving, and multitasking skills
  • Continuous improvement experience, such as implementing / developing enhancements to MRP processes, systems, and communication with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship
  • Desired Skills :

  • SAP and Apriso Knowledge and Experience
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt trained / certified
  • APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)
  • Knowledge of industry-wide best practices and processes for managing material flow throughout a production supply chain
  • Understanding of MMAS
  • 8+ years of professional experience
  • This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level : Secret.

    Ability to Work Remotely : Onsite Full-time : The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

    Work Schedules : Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.

    Schedule for this Position : 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.

    Pay Rate : The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $90,200 - $159,045. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education / training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.     The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $103,700 - $179,860. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
