Job Overview :

The Returns Clerk supports the Returns Department by processing all inbound returns accurately and efficiently while ensuring product integrity and proper documentation. This role combines administrative precision with hands-on warehouse operations, including the use of a stock picker to put away returned tires.

Key Responsibilities :

Returns Processing & Documentation

Receive returned merchandise, inspect for damages or abnormal conditions, and document findings.

Take clear photos of returned products and upload them to the designated system.

Record all return details in spreadsheets and / or the Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Verify quantities and reconcile discrepancies against return authorizations.

Material Handling

Safely operate a stock picker to store or re-bin returned inventory.

Move products to appropriate storage locations or shipping lanes as directed.

Cross-Department Support

Provide assistance to the Inventory or Shipping teams as needed to meet operational demands.

Participate in cycle counts, bin audits, and other inventory control activities.

Quality & Safety Compliance

Adhere to all company safety standards and OSHA guidelines.

Report any hazards, equipment issues, or process concerns immediately.

Requirements :

• Warehouse experience : 1-2 years (Required)
• Administrative experience : 1-2 years (Required)
• Stock Pickers : 2 years (Preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while actively contributing to team success.
• Reliable, with strong attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to lift, push, or carry items up to 75 pounds regularly.
• Comfortable with climbing, bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Flexible and adaptable to cross-training in various warehouse functions.
