  • Location : Yakima, WA 98902 (Central Washington healthcare jobs)\n
  • Facility : 2NW Advanced Care Unit (ACU / CCU) – 20 bed critical care unit\n
  • Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 3 / 2025 – End : 1 / 31 / 2026)\n
  • Shift : 12-hour days (0700-1930), every other weekend & holiday rotation\n
  • Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary : $1880–$2020 per week\n
  • Employment Type : Travel RN, On-Site\n
  • Orientation : General hospital orientation plus 2 unit shifts\n
  • Scrub Color : Any color, professional attire\n
  • Parking : Free employee parking\n
  • \n\nICU Registered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active RN license (Washington RN license preferred for local candidates)\n
  • Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience required\n
  • At least 1 completed travel nurse assignment\n
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association)\n
  • Clinical skills : CHF, respiratory distress, ACS, A-fib RVR, diabetes management, blood product administration, BiPAP, CVA overflow, post-cath care\n
  • Experience with chest tubes, wound vacs, dressing changes, femoral arterial sheath monitoring\n
  • Preferred : Art line, Impella, and / or IABP experience\n
  • Ability to float to Telemetry, Med-Surg, and Neurology-Medical units as needed\n
  • \n\nICU RN Responsibilities\n \n

  • Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU / CCU\n
  • Monitor and manage complex patient conditions and critical drips (diltiazem, amiodarone, Lasix, nitro, heparin)\n
  • Perform and assist with procedures : chest tube management, wound care, arterial sheath monitoring\n
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team : CNAs, charge nurses, hospitalists, intensivists, respiratory therapists\n
  • Utilize EPIC EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, and Phillips monitors\n
  • Float to other nursing units as needed, ensuring patient safety and continuity of care\n
  • Participate in hospital orientation and ongoing professional development\n
