About the Role We are seeking a skilled Critical Facilities Technician to join our operations team. This role is responsible for maintaining and operating critical and non-critical facility systems to ensure safety, reliability, and efficiency. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in both mechanical and electrical systems and thrives in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on critical and non-critical equipment. Operate and maintain HVAC, plumbing, generators, fire detection / suppression systems, life safety, temperature controls, building management systems, and digital systems (fire alarm, duress, card access, CCTV). Manage all electrical operations, including planning, implementation, coordination, and supervision of maintenance and energy management programs. Ensure compliance with change control processes and maintenance procedures (MOP / SOP / ERP). Monitor and operate facility systems, ensuring safe and compliant performance. Oversee work performed by contractors and service providers. Execute and document preventive and corrective maintenance work orders using a computerized maintenance management system. Respond promptly to emergency situations (fire, evacuation, equipment failure, etc.) and customer concerns. Conduct building tours and inspections during scheduled shifts. Ensure materials are identified, ordered, and documented appropriately. Assign and monitor safe work responsibilities for employees and contractors. Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation in facility operations. What We're Looking For Education / Experience : High school diploma with 3-5 years' experience in electrical or mechanical critical facilities support, OR 7+ years' experience as an HVAC or mechanical / electrical technician. Electrical / Mechanical certifications preferred. Proficiency in MS Office. Ability to work 12-hour shifts 6am-6pm, day shift 4 months / 3 months night shift, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. 4days on 3 days off each week Flexibility to work overtime as required.
