Senior Product Leader
Are you a strategic, visionary product leader passionate about driving cultural transformation and enabling agility at scale? Join our Transformation Enablement team as a Senior Product Leader, where you'll lead the product strategy behind "The Way We Work" our enterprise-wide initiative to evolve mindsets, behaviors, and practices across the organization. In this high-impact role, you'll oversee a suite of internal-facing products and experiences (inclusive of applications, tooling and learning) that empower teams to work more collaboratively, iteratively, and customer-centrically. You'll manage a team of Product Owners and delivery teams, guiding the design, development, and execution of a roadmap that supports organizational agility, change management, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the Product Vision & Strategy for internal transformation offerings that support enterprise agility and cultural change.
- Own and evolve the product roadmap for tools and learning experiences that enable "The Way We Work" across the bank.
- Lead and develop a team of 3-5 direct-report Product Owners, each of whom are people leaders themselves, overseeing a broader organization of 10-15 team members.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and customer-centricity across the full product delivery ecosystem.
- Champion agile practices, design thinking, and change management across the organization, influencing senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Prioritize and align backlogs across multiple teams to ensure delivery of high-impact outcomes.
- Collaborate with UX, engineering, and business partners to design experience-driven solutions that improve how employees work and learn.
- Remove blockers and enable team success through strategic guidance, coaching, and stakeholder engagement.
- Advocate for continuous improvement, process optimization, and scalable transformation practices.
Education and Experience Required :
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience10 or more years' business, analytical, technical and / or product experienceDemonstrated success in leading high-performing teams, with direct people management responsibilities.Education and Experience Preferred :
10+ years of product management experience, including 5-7 years leading product owners.Proven success managing internal-facing products and experience-driven solutions.Deep understanding of Agile, Lean, and Design Thinking principles.Strong background in change management, process improvement, and organizational transformation.Agile and Change Management certifications preferred.Strategic thinker with a visionary mindset and the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.Experience leading application design and configuration in systems such as Service Now, Miro, and Jira.Passionate about cultural change and enabling teams to thrive in modern ways of working.Experience with application based AI implementationsWork Model & Office Locations :
This is a hybrid role with presence expected three days per week at one of M&T Bank's regional offices. Preference given for candidates who live within commuting distance to one of our regional hubs.

M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $136,787.30 - $227,978.83 Annual (USD). The successful candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
