Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring safety standards are met while maintaining high quality in our bioprocessing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct energy balance assessments to identify areas for improvement.
- Optimize manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Implement process improvements through Lean methodologies.
- Document processes and maintain accurate records for compliance and quality assurance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute CAPEX projects.
- Monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track process performance.
- Troubleshoot process issues and develop solutions to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all processes comply with safety regulations and guidelines.
- Work on projects related to chemical and food processing to enhance production rates.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.2+ years of experience in process engineering within the manufacturing sector.Strong knowledge of energy balance calculations and process optimization techniques.Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and process improvement initiatives.Proficiency in documentation practices and regulatory compliance.Familiarity with CAPEX project management and execution.Ability to analyze KPIs and identify trends for process enhancement.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.Experience in bioprocessing or food processing is a plus.Strong communication and teamwork skills.For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
