Job Description :

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Adult English Literacy Instructor to lead our adult literacy classes.
In this role, you will be responsible for creating a supportive learning environment that fosters growth and confidence in English language skills.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the needs of adult learners.

Teach reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills using relevant materials and resources.

Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.

Facilitate interactive activities that promote collaboration and real-life application of language skills.

Provide support with practical literacy tasks, such as filling out forms and writing resumes.

Foster a welcoming and inclusive classroom atmosphere where students feel comfortable participating.

Collaborate with other instructors and staff to enhance program offerings and student support.

Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress.

1-3+ years of English teaching experience

Knowledge and experience with backwards design process for planning;

Maintains high quality standards and pays rigorous attention to details.

Excellent interpersonal communication skills; possesses curiosity and has an enthusiasm for learning

Positive attitude, flexible approach, and ability to develop close working relationships with students and colleagues.
