Now Hiring : In-Home Caregiver – Wellesley, MA

We’re seeking a warm, reliable caregiver to assist a kind-hearted 84-year-old retired teacher and woodworking enthusiast who is legally blind. He thrives in a peaceful, respectful environment and values thoughtful companionship.

This is a fulfilling, low-stress role with consistent daytime hours in a calm home setting.

Schedule :

Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays : 9 : 30 AM – 3 : 00 PM

Tuesdays, Thursdays : 9 : 30 AM – 2 : 30 PM

Pay : $18–$22 / hour (based on experience and credentials)

Key Responsibilities :

Support with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, hygiene)

Assist with safe mobility and transfers

Prepare simple, nourishing meals and provide mealtime assistance

Light housekeeping to ensure a clean, comfortable environment

Offer gentle companionship and meaningful conversation

Monitor client wellbeing and communicate changes promptly

Encourage independence and cognitive engagement

Uphold privacy, dignity, and infection control standards

Who You Are :

Certified CNA, HHA or PCA in good standing

At least 1 year of relevant experience

High School Diploma or GED

Reliable transportation (required)

Experience with vision loss preferred

Compassionate, attentive, and dedicated to client-centered care
