Junior Accountant

Staff Accountant

We're seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional interested in contract to hire opportunities as a Staff Accountant in the Bridgewater, NJ area.

Key Responsibilities :

Review customer agreements and assist in determining how revenue and costs should be recognized over time.

Monitor financial aspects of projects including expenses, billing, and changes in scope.

Perform reconciliations and support general ledger activities.

Process vendor invoices and ensure proper allocation to projects and entities.

Contribute to monthly and quarterly financial close processes.

Assist in preparing and analyzing project budgets and forecasts.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure financial terms are properly reflected in records.

Maintain documentation and support audit-related requests.

Identify opportunities to improve financial workflows and systems.

Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

2-3 years of experience in a financial or accounting role, preferably involving project work.

Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with financial systems or ERPs.

Ability to communicate effectively and work cross-functionally.
