Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist Job Details

Location : Memphis, TN 38104 (Tennessee healthcare jobs)

Facility : Level I Trauma Center, Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory

Assignment Type : Travel Radiology Tech

Start Date : November 17, 2025

End Date : February 16, 2026

Duration : 13-week travel contract

Shift : 4x10-hour day shifts (07 : 00 - 15 : 30); schedule may vary

Hours per Week : 40

On-Call : Yes, some on-call required

Weekend Requirement : As needed

Flu Vaccine : Required (no exemptions)

COVID-19 Vaccine : Not required

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2380–$2550

CT / Rad Tech Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech, CT Tech, or Interventional Radiology (IR) Tech (3+ years preferred)

At least 1 completed prior travel healthcare assignment

Active Radiology or Cardiology certification (ARRT, RCIS, or equivalent)

Valid driver's license required for submission

Must reside at least 100 miles from Memphis facility (local candidates not eligible)

All licenses must be active and compliant with NLC guidelines; pending licenses not accepted

Cerner EMR experience preferred

Willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) if assignment overlaps

All requested time off must be disclosed at submission

Travel CT / Rad Tech Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab

Operate CT and radiologic equipment safely and efficiently in a clinical setting

Assist physicians and nursing staff during cardiac and vascular procedures

Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation

Participate in on-call rotation and provide weekend coverage as required

Follow all hospital policies, including infection control and safety protocols

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care
