Description :

We are seeking a Travel RN for the Medical Surgical / Neuro unit.

This position involves providing care to a diverse patient population.

The unit typically has 38 beds and a staff of 55.

Staffing ratios include 4-5 patients per RN during night shifts.

Night shift supervisors vary from 1-2 depending on staffing levels.

Key equipment used includes IV pumps, seizure monitoring, Bi-PAP, and C-PAP.

Experience with EMR systems, specifically Meditech, is preferred.

Typical procedures performed on the unit include NIH / stroke assessments and neuro assessments.

Other tasks include fall risk assessments, trach care, and management of feeding tubes.

Ideal candidates are passionate about working with the neuro patient population.

They should possess excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to multi-task.

Team player attributes are essential for collaborating with staff.

Candidates should demonstrate flexibility, positivity, and an engagement with patient experience tactics.
