About the Opportunity

St. Joseph Regional Medical Center is seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to provide inpatient psychiatric coverage on an ongoing basis. This role is available due to a provider vacancy / medical leave and offers a stable, long-term locum tenens assignment in a supportive hospital environment.

Assignment Highlights

Schedule : 5 days per month (scheduled clinical hours plus call)

Setting : Inpatient Psychiatry

Admissions Required : Yes

Privileges : Temporary privileges available

Call Type : Beeper call (details TBD)

EMR : MediTech

Patients per shift : TBD

Requirements

Board Certified in Psychiatry REQUIRED

Active Idaho Medical License REQUIRED

BLS Certification REQUIRED

Must be comfortable with :

Anxiety, affective, ADD / ADHD, personality, eating, developmental, psychotic, and organic disorders

Involuntary commitments, seclusion therapy, restraint application

Pharmacotherapy, group therapy, family therapy, and ECT

Additional Details

Insurance : Provided by IPL

Travel & Lodging : Open to full travel.

Credentialing timeframe : 60 days- Temps available!

Holidays observed : New Year s, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas
