Sustaining Engineer

WinSystems designs and manufactures embedded computer systems for industrial applications. Our products include x86 and Arm® based embedded single board computers, COM / SOM, Integrated Systems, and I / O modules.

The Sustaining Engineer manages the ongoing support of existing products, through Identification, assessment, reproduction, and resolution of technical issues throughout the product's lifecycle. Critical factors for success in this position are the ability to learn our systems and how they apply to our customers' business; and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with our customers, and across all teams in the organization.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Electrical and computer debug
• Product Issue reproduction, debug, and resolution.
• Includes 1st level Customer Support.
• Includes 2nd level RMA support. (Manufacturing team handles 1st level support, escalates to Engineering when needed)
• Support internal and external meetings with customers
• Reviews and approves ECO documents and processes for production.
• Collaborates with the Development, Support, Product, and QA teams to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve complex customer issues, which may impact multiple customers.
• Assists with warranty / failure root cause analysis on electronics & electromechanical devices.
