Job Description

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Must-Have :

  • Experience with EPIC
  • Malignant Hematology experience / BMT

Job Description :

  • The role is highly specialized, and candidates with Transplant / Cellular Therapy Coordinator experience are ideal, though not required.
  • Oncology experience, either outpatient or inpatient, is essential.
  • A Transplantation and Cellular Therapy Coordinator role supports patients requiring bone marrow therapy, primarily in treating blood cancer.
  • Provide care coordination for patients eligible for autologous stem cell transplant and / or cellular therapy (CAR T).
  • Serve as the primary contact for patients prior to transplant, assisting with planning necessary testing and treatment.
  • Provide education to patients and families, communicate plans to clinical and provider teams, and document data in preparation for transplant.
  • Develop the transplant schedule in collaboration with other health professionals.
  • Coordinate with providers in both outpatient and inpatient settings, including cellular therapy and apheresis units.
  • Manage unique patient cases of malignant hematology including lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and stem cell transplant-specific diagnoses.
  • Engage in weekly virtual meetings focused on transplants and cellular therapy lasting approximately one hour.
  • Complete a 40-hour unit orientation and participate in a hospital-wide orientation during the first week.
  • Wear Navy / White scrubs and / or business casual attire with a lab coat.

    • Preferred Skills :

  • Bone Marrow Transplant Coordinator experience or Bone Marrow Transplant Nursing experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office & Excel
  • Additional certifications like OCN, BMTCN

    • Note : RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be arranged on-site. Any call-offs or additional RTO could result in cancellation and DNR. Candidate's references from managers / supervisors within the past 12 months are highly preferred at the time of submission.
