Job descriptionProvide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence. Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and report any unusual activity. Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and / or contractors, offering assistance as needed and reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel. Complete required reports and documentation related to security-related incidents, patrols, and observations as directed by Allied Universal and client protocols. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Have at least 2 years of security-related experience. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to those on site. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, responding to incidents, and maintaining a strong presence that supports the overall security-related needs of the location. - Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
