Position Summary
A well-established commercial construction company in Eastern North Carolina is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of assigned construction projects. This role ensures projects are completed according to specifications, on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with company standards for safety, quality, and documentation.
The Project Manager will lead planning, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, progress monitoring, financial tracking, and project closeout activities. The position reports to senior operational leadership and requires strong communication with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
Minimum Requirements
- Associate’s Degree required
- Minimum 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience
- OSHA 30, First Aid, CPR (or ability to obtain)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using Primavera P6CQC Certification (USACE / NAVFAC)Key Responsibilities
Planning & Scheduling
Develop project objectives, schedules, budgets, and resource plansCreate and maintain project manuals, subcontractor / supplier lists, and progress schedulesManage submittal process and coordinate with design teamsRespond to RFIs and maintain accurate logsManage and track change order requestsImplementation & Coordination
Coordinate architects, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and field personnelSupervise and collaborate with Project Engineers, Assistant Superintendents, and Assistant Project ManagersMaintain effective communication across project phasesResource Optimization
Optimize labor, material, and equipment usageEstablish communication channels for problem-solving and conflict resolutionBudget, Quality & Safety Compliance
